A good design

Some doors have signs on them: pull, push, slide, lift, ring bell, insert card, type password, smile, rotate, bow, dance or, perhaps, just ask. Somehow, when a device as simple as a door has to come with an instruction manual—even a one word manual—then it is a failure, poorly designed.

This is a pic from the 20-20 played last night between Australia and India. As the match was played in Australia, it was an absurd timing here in US of A. I was planning to watch the match in the night from 2:30 AM. Somehow (luckily), I couldn't. After reading the results in news today morning, I was happy that I didn't waste the time and had a good sleep.

India lost miserably. The picture tells everything..

सुधा घर भर में अल्हड़ पुरवाई की तेरह तोड़ फोड़ मचने वाली सुधा , चंदर की आँख के एक इशारे से सुबह की नसीम की तेरह शांत हो जाती थी . .

कब और क्यूँ उसने चंदर के इशारों का यह मौन अनुशाशन स्वीकार कार लिया था , ये उसे खुद भी मालूम नाहीं था और ये सब इतने स्वाभाविक ढंग से इतना अपने आप होता गया की कोई इस प्रक्रिया से वाकिफ नाहीं था …
